this music is amazing. no lie. It's as if it operates on such a higher caliber than any other popular music today. I'm taken in by it. It's not just some other cookie-cutter-chord-progression. goodness. so amazing.

First song as a 16 year old? Barbra Streisand. It's my new ringtone. teehee.

When bad things happen, try to change them. You control your own happiness.

Countdown to MY Birthday

so, since this is my birthday month, I thought I'd start posting super special songs. You know, all about ME. First, let's start with my theme song. One time Joseph and I were driving home from a Dance. "This is what everybody says about you at dances".  "Who's that shorty on the dance floor?" :D

It's true though. I am known to rock the house. It's a gift. I'm awesome.

Kelly Clarkson. An Oldie-But-Goodie. I had a lot of song inspiration this month (I'm on a songwriting rampage - and I mean literally), But I've always liked this song.

Speaking of Oldie-But-Goodies, I happily rediscovered Hilary Duff this morning. First CD I ever bought for myself. I was 10? 11? I realized I hadn't played it in a long time. Made some new memories for some long-time song friendships. You know what I mean, right? Like when  you hear a song and immediately think of some thing/ situation? You know what I mean.

I Really want to do a cover of this one now.
