this music is amazing. no lie. It's as if it operates on such a higher caliber than any other popular music today. I'm taken in by it. It's not just some other cookie-cutter-chord-progression. goodness. so amazing.

Countdown to MY Birthday

so, since this is my birthday month, I thought I'd start posting super special songs. You know, all about ME. First, let's start with my theme song. One time Joseph and I were driving home from a Dance. "This is what everybody says about you at dances".  "Who's that shorty on the dance floor?" :D

It's true though. I am known to rock the house. It's a gift. I'm awesome.

Kelly Clarkson. An Oldie-But-Goodie. I had a lot of song inspiration this month (I'm on a songwriting rampage - and I mean literally), But I've always liked this song.

Speaking of Oldie-But-Goodies, I happily rediscovered Hilary Duff this morning. First CD I ever bought for myself. I was 10? 11? I realized I hadn't played it in a long time. Made some new memories for some long-time song friendships. You know what I mean, right? Like when  you hear a song and immediately think of some thing/ situation? You know what I mean.

I Really want to do a cover of this one now.

I Can't Find It.

I'm trying to remember. I know it's there. When you actually feel Quiet. Which song is that? I feel as if I don't want to do anything but listen to this song, but which one is it? There is a small part at the top of your stomach that you don't realize is full until one day it's empty. You feel like regretting something but you haven't a clue what. And you sigh a lot. For no reason. You even ask yourself "what was that sigh for?" But you hear the right song and the things go away.
